About Music For Sight 2012

** FREE LIVE MUSIC EVENT **

Following the success of Music For Sight 2011, Rugby Borough Council and RP Fighting Blindness are bringing Music For Sight back to the town on August 18th 2012 as Rugby Music Festival. Once again, Caldecott Park will be the place to be for music lovers.

With the support of two sponsors (who will be publicised in the New Year) Rugby Music Festival (Music for Sight 2012) will be bigger, louder, brighter, and busier. Set over two stages with at least a dozen acts planned and lots of other things going on in the Park

Join us for a whole afternoon and evening of music from local talent. From smooth jazz to contemporary rock, through country, gospel, and more. There will be something for everyone as we showcase acts from Rugby and the surrounding areas.

This event will be entirely FREE OF CHARGE but we will be collecting for charity on the day.

Ice cream, burgers, drinks and other refreshments will be available. To add to the Festival atmosphere local traders and crafter will be able to take a stall at the event. Contact us as soon as you can to ask about a pitch – there will be a doxen gazebos available and we are looking for all kinds of attractions to add to the event.

Find yourself a nice spot in the grass of Caldecott Park, make yourself comfortable. Chill out to recorded summer sounds and watch as the excitement builds. Give us a hand setting up maybe … get involved … pick up an ice cream or burger, look around the stalls, and get ready for some great live music…
